St Johnstone v Fraserburgh

St Johnstone v Fraserburgh
Match Report by Dana McIntosh

The game got off to an exciting start with Fraserburgh and St Johnstone both playing the really well.

Fraserburgh show some nice play with some quick, sharp passes but too often gave the ball away before it could amount to anything.

St Johnstone were first to the ball in the early stages and were having more shots at goal that Fraserburgh.

Half way through the first half, St Johnstone received a penalty after a bad tackle in the box. Thankfully for Fraserburgh, their goal keeper was the hero after he saved the score at 0-0.

This caused some tension between the two teams and they began to get a lot more competitive, giving away more free kicks and there were a few harsh tackles.

First half ended 0-0

Kick off for second half started off with an quick shot at goal from St Johnston but the keeper was on his toes and saved what was a cracking shot.

Final Score 0-0. Disappointingly after the match the number 5 from St Johnstone was given a yellow card after for his poor attitude and behaviour at the full time whistle.

Player of the Match would go to number 10 for consistent quick feet, passing the ball to team players, getting into space and having a clean slate by the end of the game.
