Match Report Dana McIntosh
The game got off to a fast moving, exciting start. We only had to wait until the 10th minute before Aberdeen's number 4 Glenn smith scored the first goal. Two further goals went on to be scored for Aberdeen leaving the score at 3-0.
Fraserburgh's luck looked like it might have changed when a shot taken by Fraserburgh's number 11, James Gibb slipped out of Aberdeen's goalies hand and into the net.
In the second half, the pace was, again, fast moving and saw a strong defence from both sides.
A lovely move saw Aberdeen beat Fraserburgh tough defence afer a nicely played corner was put into the back of the net. Just before the end of the match another goal for Aberdeen, make the final score Aberdeen 5 – 1 Fraserburgh.

Motherwell FC U16's v Cornhill BC U16's
Match report by David Barry
Motherwell were looking for a high scoring win from this match which they needed in order to have a chance of reaching the finals in the tournament.
They came close in the early minutes of the game from a corner that was just headed over. More early chances down the wings were dealt with well by Cornhill's captain Russell Masson.
The opener came after only five minutes following a pull back from the left found Craig Moore on the edge of the box who struck home into the top corner.
The Steelmen went 2-0 up shortly after, a cross from the right met Craig Moore in the box who buried it with his head.
Cornhill responded almost immediately with their own headed attempt that just went past the near post.
Motherwell scored soon after from another header by Craig Moore who completed his hat-trick. Moore was on fire and he nearly scored a fourth but for a good save from the keeper.
Another 'Well attack led to Cornhill conceding a penalty after a foul in the box from Russell Masson. Motherwell's No.12 stepped up and converted.
The star of half Craig Moore got his fourth of the game, a terrific cross field ball from Stuart Hall found his team mate at the back post who hit on the volley in to the goal.
Half time – 5-0 Motherwell
Cornhill battled on against their opponents, but Motherwell continued were they left off in the first half after another great cross from Stuart Hall found Kyle Jackson who slotted home.
Motherwell were awarded another penalty later on, Stuart Hall took the penalty and got the goal that his efforts during the game had deserved. 7-0.
Motherwell did not let up however and a fine bit of play ended with Paul McCafferty scoring.
'Well's Darren Brownlie got on the score sheet a little later after he headed in at the back post from a free kick.
Cornhill did have the ball in the back of the Motherwell goal but it was ruled to have been offside.
Stuart Hall was again causing problems and scored his second from a powerful shot to the keepers back post.
Cornhill battled throughout the game but the premier league quality of Motherwell was on evident for the spectators to see.

Performances in the previous matches suggested that this would one of the games of the day, and the first ten minutes of this gripping match between two top quality teams certainly lived up to all the expectations.
Dundee United were the first one's to create a goal-scoring opportunity and it wasn't long after that they scored. A cross in to the box from the right side was not fully cleared by the Faroe Islands defence and United's Jordan Moore capitalised with a header into the bottom corner of the net.
The Faroes however weren't prepared to lie down to their opponents and equalised two minutes later after a low cross into the box left Jakub Olsen with a tap in from three yards out. It was a very even first half, with both sides creating chances but both goalkeepers stood firm.
Half time – 1-1
Second half began much the same as the first, with Dundee United quickly out of the traps and on the attack. United came close to scoring again within the first five minutes.
The mounting pressure from United meant it looked as if the next goal was imminent, and eventually did through the resident goal-machine Jordan Moore. Some good on the deck football played by the United players left Ryan Ferguson on the edge of the box for him to who lay it behind for Jordan Moore, who curled the ball beautifully over the goalkeepers head and into the net.
This eventful match was also the witness to the first red card of the tournament, after a two footed challenge from one of the Dundee United players left the referee with no choice but to send him off.
Despite being down to ten men United kept at the opposition and defending well. With ten minutes left to go the Faroes made their extra man count and drew level. A ball fired across the six yard box from the right that, in the attempt to clear their lines, was unfortunately booted into his own net by one of the Dundee Unites defenders.
At the end of the match both teams played extremely well with a draw being the fair result.

It is Dundee who pose the first threat of the game with a shot of target collected by Albions keeper Stuart Miller.
This is followed by a period of pressure from Albion with Chris Liversedge providing great pace down the left, Liversedge impresses again soon after with another break, he manages to stay on his feet following a tackle keeping possession leading eventually to a goal line clearance.
Albion dominate the opening quarter of an hour. A decent strike from Albions Chris Davidson forces a save from Dundee's Cameron Johnstone – he has had an impressive start with afew good saves.
Some good football from Dundee however Albion continue their dominance overall.
Liversedge again poses as a threat to Dundee as he wins Albion a corner.
Dundee look threataning on the break however Albion regain possession which Dundee defend well.
25 minutes in and Albion come close again forcing another great save.
It is fair to say that the quality of Dundee's defending has kept then in the game so far.

Albion's pressure pays off as Liversedge sets up Darren Sinclair to make it 1-0 Albion – great asset from Liversedge and a fine finish from Sinclair.

Within moments of the re-start Albion add to their half time advantage as Dean Still makes it 2-0 Albion. Keeper gets a touch however the shot is powerful and hits the back of the net.
A Dundee save just before the break prevents Still from getting his second and Albions third.

As the game continues, Chris Liversedge continues to impress.
There is a great run from Albion's Devin Kennedy-Colburt.
Some impressive stuff from Dundee's Lee Cameron but unfortunately Dundee cannot keep possession.
Dundee improve as they apply some pressure – proving they are not out of the game yet as a good effort hits the woodwork. Unlucky for Dundee.
PENALTY
9 minutes into the second half and Dundee are awarded a penalty. There are appeals for a sending off – however the referee dismisses them and points to the spot.
Calvin Colquoun steps up and Albions stopper Stuart Miler saves – the rebound is shot wide.
You have to feel for Dundee as you feel nothing is going their way despite having looked threataning.
Dundee come close again as they press for that goal that could make a dofference to their game.
Albion make a change with Connor Kelly making his way for Ray Gordon.
Dundee are playing much better 25 minutes into the second half.
The game turns into somewhat a midfield battle for possession.
Albion keeper is in the book for a bad challenge whilst attempting to clear the Dundee ball he clashes with the opposition.
As the game progresses we see Albion hit the wodwork and have another player enter the book this time Bryan Lovie seeing yellow.

Albion's Liam Meldrum leaves the field early through injury and is replaced with Jack Stewart.

The match got off to a good start with both teams having a fairly equal number of chances and possession of the ball.
An early goal for St. Johnstone raised the competitive temperature of the match, resulting in a yellow card for the ALC Lewis number 8.
St Johnstone went on to double their lead in the first half with another goal leaving the half time score at 2 – 0.
In the second half, ALC Lewis continued with a spirited performance from their defence but this was eventually broken down with a goal from the St Johnstone's number 4 making it 3-0.
Later on in the game a penalty was given to ALC Lewis, and calmly scored by number 8 who drove the ball into the back of the net.
In the final minutes of the game, a second goal for ALC Lewis by number 9 set up a tense finish. It wasn't to be for Lewis though with the full time whistle blown at 3-2.
Callum Donnelly (10) St. Johnstone, stood out throughout the game as a team player who was showed strong leadership, he was also quick on the ball and gave a few glimpses of real skill.

The opening stages of the game saw some very good football from Ross County.
After only 4 minutes there was an unfortunate incident in which there was a clash of heads beetween Faroe's Kari Hvannastein and County's Kieran Forbes with Forbes coming off the worse and having to make an early exit from the game.
The match remains fairly even in terms of possession. County defend well then follow with a spell of pressure.
Faroe Islands look very sharp when they have the ball however Ross County are successful at keeping them contained. In particular the Faroe's number 10 Ragner Tausen and Ross County's number 7 Gordon Macnab stood out in the early stages.
Sustained Faroe pressure sees a free kick awarded which is taken by Bardur Guttesen and put into penalty box. It is met by a header which forces a decent save from County's keeper Connor Hall.
A chance for Ross County from corner sees John Budge heading the ball over the crossbar.
22minutes in – the game was pretty end to end with half chances either end.
Just before half time a confrontation lands two players in the book – Faroe's Magnus Egilson and County's Jim Kelly both seeing yellow.

There is sympathy for the Faroe's on the sidelines as the goal came so quickly after the break – a very bad time to concede.
Faroe Islands press for an equaliser however and it begins to look like it might be on the cards even as they fail to capitalise on a counter attack shortly after going behind when the ball is over-run and County regain possession.
The goal has raised the confidence level in Ross County's team as they look threatening whenever they are on the ball.
